About Us

This energetic organ trio originated from a shared interest in jazz music by three students at a swedish music school. Today, the band aims to spread their joy and music to a broad audience. The repertoire is broad and consists of original tunes as well as interpretations of standard jazz repertoire.

The band draws inspiration from the classic organ trio sound played and established by musicians such as Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco and Dr. Lonnie Smith. 

The sound of Three Way Split is a fusion of influences from these musicians as well as the individual musical preferences of the band members. All together, this creates a unique musical experience for the audience, not easily forgotten.
